Terry Karp is an Executive Coach with over 15 years of professional experience coaching Executives, Sr. Leaders, Managers and Individual Contributors to help them maximize their career potential. She also has extensive experience working with women in leadership roles assisting them with overcoming obstacles they encounter to reaching their professional goals.
Terry is dedicated to her clients’ career success. She provides astute, forthright coaching to identify key strategies to accelerate career growth. Her success lies in her ability to create scalable action plans in collaboration with her clients to build momentum towards reaching their goals. Her direct and supportive coaching style ensures that they stay focused and on track. Terry also helps organization by facilitating group workshops aimed at enhancing leader communication, EQ and overall effectiveness, as well as programs targeted at building team performance.
Terry previously worked as a Director at an executive search firm specializing in the high technology and financial services industries. Terry is the co-author of ValueSearch, a values clarification process and has contributed a chapter to the book New Directions in Career Planning and the Workplace. As a career development expert, Terry is also the co-founder of the Bay Area Career Center (BACC) in San Francisco and she also provides coaching and career-related services MBA students and alumni at the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
